Most recently working as a professor at Oregon State University with the Oregon Wood Innovation Center, Knowles provided technical support to many forest product companies and associations. In addition, he conducted extensive market research on products in both domestic and international markets.
“I am eager to apply my knowledge to Timber Products’ goals, initiatives, and marketing strategy,” said Knowles. “This will be a great opportunity to help shape the company’s future in the markets.”
Knowles earned his Bachelor’s degree in Forest Management and his Master’s degree in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Tex., before moving to Corvallis, Ore., in 2003 to begin his work with Oregon State University.
