Meet Darryl Seefeldt

This past Fall, Darryl Seefeldt stepped into an interim role of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Western Region of TP Trucking. In January, he was promoted to Director of TP Trucking & Logistics. Darryl joined Timber Products in April 2016 as an analyst after Timber Products purchased SierraPine’s Ampine Particleboard facility in November 2015. Darryl was SierraPine’s Chief Financial Officer and brings nearly 43 years of accounting, finance, manufacturing, and transportation experience in the forest products industry.

In addition to working behind the scenes with several of our manufacturing divisions since joining Timber Products, Darryl has worked with TP Trucking & Logistics getting to know the employees, operations and activities involved in the day-to-day operations. His experience with the team and knowledge of the operations has prepared him well to transition into this new role. When asked about his management style, he mentioned that he is focused on being a servant leader and uses the three Ps to guide him: people, process, and products. To him that means that the employees working at TP Trucking are important, respected, and needed; ensuring there is continuous improvement to the work they are doing; and delivering freight in a timely and efficient manner, as well as ensuring the trucks are well maintained in order to be able to do so. Of the three Ps, Darryl sees the employees of TP Trucking & Logistics as the most important, he said “without great employees, good processes and good products can only do so much.”

Darryl’s vision for TP Trucking & Logistics in 2024 is ensuring that they continue their history of providing world class customer service and in doing so, grow the fleet with world class drivers and equipment to serve customers with all their trucking and logistics needs.

In Darryl’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, traveling in his motorhome and taking part in and watching motorsports. Welcome to the Trucking & Logistics team Darryl!
