Timber Products Attends KBIS 2022
Timber Products exhibited at the KBIS & IBS 2022 show from February 8-10 in Orlando, FL. The National Kitchen and Bath Association hosted this first in-person show in two years since the start of the pandemic.
The show combines KBIS and IBS to create a special Design and Construction Week (DCW) event. This year, the combined shows featured 1,200 exhibitors with 70,000 attendees. It was held at the Orange County Convention Center. This was the first and one of the largest events hosted in-person since early 2020.
The Timber Products team was excited to return to meet with old and new customers. The booth was setup as a customer lounge with available food and drink. Overall, the show had a smaller turnout, but it was somewhat expected considering world events.
“Although total volume was down from past shows, it gave us time to focus on our key contacts. We were pleased with the quantity and content of the meetings at the 2021 KBIS show,” said Pat Lynch, VP of Sales.
Other members of the team who attended echoed Lynch’s thoughts.
“The overall volume of traffic wasn’t perhaps what it has been I recent past / pre-Covid, but the quality of meetings we had with customers and potential customers was very good,” said Lin Thompson, Sales Account Manager II.
“We made the most of it with solid customer meetings and an opportunity to walk the floor to see new trends on the KBIS side and new technology on the IBS side,” said Sara Anderson, Sales Manager. “It was interesting to learn that some of the usual exhibitors opted not to show this time around, and rather had a few folks walking the floor. Something we may see more of (or a rebound from) coming out of the limited travel over the last couple of years.”
Next year, Timber Products will once again attend the KBIS show that returns to Las Vegas in February 2023.
